Study Automotive Technology at CATI

Becoming an automotive mechanic is easier than you think. CATI programs are intensive in nature and designed to for students of all levels and backgrounds. In fact, CATI students come from a variety of places in Southern Ontario, Quebec and Eastern Canada.

CATI Admissions Requirements


In order to enroll for the Automotive Technology program at CATI, students must meet the following admissions requirements:

  • All students must complete a qualifying interview with an Admissions Coordinator.

  • All students must be at least 18 years of age before entering the program.

  • All students must posses a high school diploma or equivalent, or pass the pre-admissions entrance exam.

Financial aid is available to those who qualify.

CATI - Dream Program CATI, The Canadian Automotive & Trucking Institute offers a program which widens the career scope for many. Since the time I started my career, I had set a goal of completing a course, acredited internationally. CATI helped me achieve the goal in a very short period of time. The training environment was very challenging, because multiple skills had to be learnt with in a fraction of time, but I never had difficulties in understanding and mastering the skills required for the trucking industry. All credit goes to the excellent team of teachers, who are highly knowledgeable, dedicated and talented. More over the institute has all the facilities required for effective learning to take place. In the beginning of the course, when I looked at the books and the study material provided, I thought I would never complete the course.
