I choose CATI by mistake; when I called the campus I was looking at getting my AZ license. I chose the TOS program and am glad that I made the decision I did. To everyone who reads this with a positive attitude and determination, I believe that there are many good opportunities for graduates of CATI in various positions within the automotive and trucking industry. – Mark Stapleton
I will be training as a local dispatcher at Manitoulin Transport on Industrial Drive in Cambridge starting on May 31, 2010 under the supervision of the Terminal Manager, Mr. Paul Pinnell. I found the placement myself (ad in the KW Record) for a local dispatcher). I brought the ad in to Linda who called Manitoulin to see if they would be interested in the 8 week job placement program. The idea was met with much enthusiasm and I had an interview last Monday with Mr. Pinnell.
I am really looking forward to getting some hands-on experience at a national carrier and representing our school to the best of my ability. I have been told by Paul that there is a definite chance of a hire when the placement is finished. Time will tell on that one.
Coming to CATI was the smartest decision I have ever made and I thank you for all your support. I will not be a stranger as I feel that CATI is my "second home" now. – Sue Coggins
