Since CATI opened our doors in 1996, we have supported case managers and their clients through a successful retraining program into the Transportation and Automotive Industries. CATI is registered as a private career college under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005
Our programming is designed to support your student in all the necessary academic requirements. We are listed on the ILC.org website as an approved GED facility. We have the resources to complete a full academic assessment.
Research and Admissions Process
Our admissions team is available to provide information about our industries, statistics and training plans for vocational preparation in the Automotive and Transportation industries. Customer Service in Admissions means quick response to call clients for appointments, provide testing results and recommendations with quotes and follow up to ensure the case manager is able to meet their time lines.
Student Services at CATI
The Student Services department supports the case manager in many areas while their client is attending school and while on work placement. This includes setting up client appointments, supplying student progress reports including attendance, marks and any other area that may be of a concern. Case managers may contact student services for many reasons, all of which are important to us to ensure success of their client.
Completion of the academics and on to work
CATI has many industry contacts. We receive many requests for our students and during our Employment Prep program, assist students to find the right company for them.
Please contact our Admissions team for Class Start Dates, Program Outlines, and Statistics or to arrange an interview or testing.

The Canadian Automotive and Trucking Institute has an exciting and current program that teaches the many different occupations and new technologies that are found in the transportation industry. The Instructors have real life experiences that made the lectures and bookwork come to life. I found it easy to fit into my first job as a Logistics Software trainer and further on down the line as a Dispatcher, Safety Officer, Load Planner and finally after working my way up the ladder a Dispatch & Equipment Manager for a large dedicated automotive parts carrier. I attribute my success to the diverse training that I received at C.A.T.I., which made me a valuable candidate for the many positions that I have held in trucking. –

Out of all my experiences in my thirty-five years, the time I spent at Canadian Automotive & Trucking Institute stands out the most. Remarkable, I wa given the tools to learn in a family type atmosphere. – Doug Oulimet
